We will have live period music and we have asked Carol to extend the invitation to her friends to ensure that there will be some people at least who will go in the right direction. From scenes of Miss Caroline Bingley offering to mend Mr Darcy’s pen to Jane Fairfax’s long walks after visiting the post office in Highbury, letters form an important part of Austen’s novels.
